This poetry reflects a person who hides their true self out of fear—fear of judgment, rejection, and being left behind. They’ve grown used to masking their emotions and presenting only happiness, even while carrying inner chaos and self-doubt. Though they long to be understood and truly seen, they hesitate, believing that vulnerability might lead to loss. In the end, they remain unseen—caught between the desire to be known and the fear of what that might cost.
